How do I find X percent of a number?
Multiply the number by X and divide by 100. For example, 15 percent of 2,400 is 2400 x 15 / 100 = 360.
How do I calculate percentage increase?
Subtract the old value from the new value, divide by the old value, then multiply by 100. Going from 80 to 100 is a (100 - 80) / 80 x 100 = 25 percent increase.
How do I convert marks into a percentage?
Divide marks obtained by total marks and multiply by 100. Use the second mode of this calculator: 432 out of 500 is 86.4 percent.
